Basilicata

The Basilicata is a structurally weak and hilly area in the heart of Italy with 14.000 hectare of wine growing area. An outstanding red wine of the Basilicata is Aglianico del Vulture who is related to the Taurasi. Also the Canneto, which is produced with the same grapes (Aglianico), is a fabulous red wine who gained more and more in importance in the last years.
