The Librandi winery is headquartered in Cirò Marina. This small Calabrian town is on the Ionian coast, near the Punta Alice promontory, south of the Gulf of Taranto.
This area is naturally suited to wine growing: the soil is predisposed for vines and its happy geographic position, close to the sea with the
SilaMountains at its back, is such that it guarantees an excellent contrast between day- and night-time temperatures.
Librandi has grown grapes for four generations and in the 50s began bottling as well. Company management, which has always been firmly in family hands, avails itself of the technical collaboration of Donato Lanati, Professor of Oenology at the universities of Torino and Florence, and of his firm, Enosis Meraviglia.
