VINTAGE CHARACTERISTICS
Warm March followed by very cold and rainy April and May. Fine weather from 10 June onwards with very hot and dry end of month and beginning of July. Hot, even intense, from mid-July to the end of August, interspersed with a few rainfalls that ensured proper water availability in the soil.
Generally good weather, but always with some rain, during September and the first half of October. Sprouting slightly delayed, flowering delayed by about 10 days. Rapid and vigorous development of the vines in June. The veraison started slightly late and continued rather slowly. Harvesting began a few days later than in recent years.

TASTING -colour: intense ruby red, with dark purple reflections.
-scent: fine and elegant with notes of blackberry and blueberry
combined with hints of cinnamon and wood.
-flavour: soft, round with good structure.
Very persistent aftertaste of red fruit.
