The Calvarino vineyard is the original nucleus of the family homestead, where the traditional varieties, Garganega and Trebbiano, are grown in their customary percentages, respectively 70% and 30%.
The soil is volcanic in origin rich in basalt and Tufa.
It represent Soave’s highest and finest quality level: lively, crisp and fruity, complex on the palate, with net and well balanced, clean flavours.
The first Calvarino’s label has been made on 1971.
It matches a great variety of dishes, and is ideal with vegetable terrines, cheese soufflès and delicate fish dishes.
