Grape varieties: Pinot Blanc
Description: Brilliant straw yellow colour with a green tint. Very fine, fruity (apples, peaches), forward varietal aroma. Pronounced, clean, elegant, grapey flavour, light to medium-bodied with a fresh mouth-watering finish.
Suggested Food: As an aperitif, with starters, salads, asparagus, all kind of seafood and pasta dishes.
Maturation potential: 2 – 4
Origin: Vineyards in the Salorno, Magrè, and Pochi areas at 300 to 450 metres (990 - 1480 feet) altitude. Sandy and stony soil. Quite cool mesoclimate with big variations between day and night temperatures.
Age of the wines: 10 - 35
Yeld: 55hl / ha
Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by maturation on the fine lees for 4 months.
