Nosiola ist die einzige Weißwein Sorte, die typisch für das Trentino ist und dort angebaut wird. Der Nosiola wird seit jeher im Trentino angebaut und erfährt eine Wiederentdeckung dank der Winzer, die auf die Aufwertung der lokalen Produkte achten.

Grape variety :
Nosiola trentina on Esseoquattro rootstock (V. Berlandieri x V.Riparia)
Training system :

Soil :
It consists of white dolomitic limestone marl that is extremely skeletal and poor.

Vinification :
It is vinified initially in carbonic maceration to obtain greater fruitiness and then concludes the process fermentation in white in steel barrels: it does not undergo malolactic fermentation, as the grapes with the small espalier training system
with a small espalier system, enters the cellar with a very balanced acidity content. Racked to separate the yeasts, rests in cold steel vats until February, to perform tartaric stability.

Comment :
Nosiola is the only white-fruited variety typical and auctogenous to Trentino. It has always been cultivated in Trentino and is experiencinga new and growing success thanks to winegrowers attentive to the valorisation of local products. A widespread varietyin the Valle dei Laghi, linked to the production of Vino santo and on the hills of Sorni and Pressano to obtain ayoung, fresh and fruity wine with a pleasant hint of wildness. Nosiola is now obtained from many vintages
with the new espalier system, revolutionary compared to the traditionality of modern Trentino viticulture, but also a return to the origins of local viticulture at the end of the 19th century .
