Der Gravello von Librandi wurde Ende der 80er Jahre aus einer Mischung von Cabernet Sauvignon und Gaglioppo Trauben hergestellt. Er wurde sofort zu einem der führenden Weine des Unternehmens und zu einem Symbol Kalabriens, das sich gerade erst für den internationalen Markt öffnete. Wir lieben seinen ausgefallenen Namen sehr, der einerseits Komplexität und Schwerkraft hervorruft und andererseits Leichtigkeit und Spontanität suggeriert: eine Verbindung zwischen zwei Gegensätzen.
